ABOUT

Jon MacNair is a graduate of The Maryland Institute College of Art, where he earned a BFA in Illustration. His work has appeared in various editorial publications as well been used for package design and apparel.

Clients include: Computer Arts, The Seattle Stranger, Pittsburgh City Paper, The Washington Square Review, Baltimore Magazine, The Riverfront Times, Baltimore City Paper, Urbanite, Hyphen Magazine, Tooth and Nail Records, Rockpile Magazine, Closed Casket Activities, Slice Literary Magazine, Booger USA, Annalemma Magazine, Elle Girl, Willamette Week, Color Ink Book.

In addition to freelance illustration, he has exhibited his personal work at galleries worldwide, having shown in cities such as New York, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, D.C., London and Glasgow. His personal work has appeared in publications such as Beautiful Decay, IdN, Faesthetic and Empty Magazine. He is also an active member of the Honeycomb Art Collective (based in Buenos Aires and New York).

He currently resides in Michigan.
